• Jul 21, 2017  Ya know, $50 vs. They both do granular synthesis, and I feel like buying omnisphere 2 would just be paying for a ton of presets and other features that I already get out of Massive.
• Can anyone recommend a granular synth vst? I've been side-eyeing Dust by Soundmorph as well as Padshop and the Mangle. Anything else I should look into? Thanks for any input! I think the granular part of Omnisphere is great, but it's really expensive to get just for that. Omnisphere 2.

Sample import
With Padshop Pro, sound designers and creatives can use their own samples and recordings to fuel Padshop’s granular synthesis engine. Record new sounds in Cubase and drag-and-drop the file directly to Padshop Pro to create your individual sound presets. Own samples can also be imported from the MediaBay or via the convenient import browser into Padshop Pro. WAV and AIF formats with a length of up to ten minutes are supported.
